Keeran's California Ranch. Known as Jasmine from 1895 to 1908, it was then renamed Telferner after Count Joseph Telfener, who helped build the New York, Texas and Mexican Railway. By 1914 it was home to a population of 102, with five stores, a gin, and a lumberyard (Handbook of Texas).
